Do you use a hooping system??

I'm thinking of getting a hooping system to hopefully make life a little easier. Is it all it's cracked up to be or is it like those infomercial products late at night? Can anybody recommend which brand of hooping system is good? I have a commercial machine. Thanks guys.

I just bought a Hoop Master System and while I like it, I think it is way over priced! Can someone tell me why it is called a system when only one size hoop can be used for a $500 price tag? Is there something I am missing?

I use hoopmasters. They are the most universal, plus they have all kinds of goodies and accessories to accommodate large garments and such.

I've seen the all in ones by tex, but don't really know much about them.

I bought a HoopMaster last year and am very pleased i did. It definitely helps, a lot actually. It allows me to get more done accurately and saves my wrists. Go to a dealer to try it out yourself to be sure it's for you. I bought mine under 30 day money back guarantee just in case it wasn't what I hoped it would do. Fortunately I never had a reason to return it :)

the embroidery company i used to work for also had a hoopmaster. they are great for the wrist if you have to hoop non stop everyday so theyre definitley worth the money.

I didn't know such a device existed. Can you guys also name other brands of this device so I can do some comparrison? It looks like it's something I might need eventually.

Hoopmaster is the only good hooping system out there. That's why no one is really recommending anything else. The price is a bit on the high side, but IMO, totally worth every cent. I have 2 of them (for about 8 years now) and my operators LOVE them. They are great for consistent placement on shirts, but I think they really show their worth on hat backs, bags, cuffs, sleeves, blankets, etc. And lots of other non-typcial placements/items. They easily pay for themselves in a short amount of time.
