We just bought a Epson 7880 for film positives and was wondering if anyone was using the Black Max ink system and how it was working.

Re: Epson film positives
The 7880 will produce positives with the native Epson ink, they add uv block to the ink to protect it from uv light.

Re: Epson film positives
I made my own black max system. I have a 4000. I refill my carts using black ink from inksupply.com and I run accurip to make it print all the heads. Cheaper by far since I get the ink by the pint instead of the cart.

Thanks
Re: Epson film positives
Help. We need some 36" wide films made. We have the .eps files. Our Epson 9800 is down. We're screwed....can you help....
BTW....I have only used Epson inks....K3...never wanted to risk it.
Let me know soonest if you can help.
