Does anyone have problems with their Epson printer feeding a ton of film between seperations? how do you fix that?

You might have it on sheet? Does it throw a paper error after this feed?

epson 1800. it feeds the same size as the image it just printed... if it prints 18" it feeds 18" of blank film afterwards...

Which Epson model?
You might be sending sheet data, it will try to expel the sheet at the end of the print.
