Font Conversion

Hi,
I have been given a disk with some embroidery fonts on it. They are .OFA and .alp fonts. I am working with Wilcom ES Designer. How can I convert these font to work with Wilcom ?

Hi Earl,

I don't think that's gonna work unless those are TrueType fonts. You could open them with the software they were digitized with (EOS?), then save in .dst for instance and insert into an .emb file... if it makes any sense to you :)

As another member mentioned previously the file types you have been given are native to another software package and Wilcom is unable to open them. It was also suggeted the could be opened with the native software and converted to a .dst file. a dst file is common to most software packages. These will only be embroidery files and not the .esa file that Wilcom uses to create keyboard lettering.
