Lucy,

At $1.50 per thousand. You would have to digitize 75,000 stitches a DAY!!! just to make entry level pay!

Lucy is outsourcing the work or a complete retard

If you personally are not able to digitize 75,000 stitches a DAY, I would say we have another retard here :) And I didn't know $11.25 a DAY was considered an entry level pay in Maryland :)

Before calling a person you don't know anything about a retard, make sure what you say is bright enough, as with the freedom of speech comes the freedom to sound ridiculous.
Cheers :)

Better to keep one's mouth shut to let them think you are a fool than to open one's mouth and REMOVE ALL DOUBT!:p ;)

Lucy,

What ever you feel comfortable charging is up to you, you alone know what you need! Don't let anyone bully you around!

I think the biggest horror of this thread is that Digitizingusa hijacked this poor girls advertisement...by placing his own ad inside. :( Then he calls someone else a hater.

I don't disagree that this is very low pay but shouldn't we enable this thread to simply be replied to with questions/answers in regard to the quality, cost and turn time of the poster? Lets see image samples.

Just say'n. When did an advertisement thread become game for a free for all bashing?
I'm new here but sheesh... whats it going to be like here? Where is the professionalism and caring for fellow industry comrades? How can we educate the young or inexperienced and how can you make an honest buck doing it?

If $$ is the only thing that matters to you then it may be time to step back and re-evaluate one's life and priorities.

Do not be fooled into believing that because a man is rich he is necessarily smart. There is ample proof to the contrary.

He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money.

Money is only loaned to a man. He comes into the world with nothing and he leaves with nothing.

Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.

Money is like manure; it's not worth a thing unless it's spread around encouraging young things to grow.

"L'argent est un bon serviteur, mais un mechant maitre."

Just a drop of infinite wisdom from great individuals from the past and present on $$$!;)

Seek a digitizer that performs an actual machine test sew out on compatible fabric, troble shoots their own design, ensures their work met your Spec's prior to sending it to you.

A skilled digitizer knows what questions must be asked/answered, included in Order Spec's.

If Customer Order Spec's are met, then no edit(s) are required.

CHANGES to Order Spec's is diffierent Animal and should be billable and advised/agreed too in writing prior to change(s).

EDITS should NOT be required if a digitizer is any good, knows how to follow directions - Order Spec's, asks questions if not sure, test sews - trouble shoots their own work on like fabric, ensures their design met Specs, is pathed correctly, is optimal production run - FIRST TIME.

Now That's Worth Paying For!:)
