I was looking at a couple of Happy 12 needle machines. I don't know anything about them and was wanting to hear from you guys. Are they worth looking at? Are there any pros or cons? Thanks and look forward to hearing from everyone.
Cheers,
Paul

Re: Happy 12 needle machine - are they good??
Yes, they are. Happy is a workhorse machine. The jump structure it's all solid steel. No plastics parts like SWF, Tajima or Barudan. I have 24 heads in my shop and they works great. The only draw back is that are a little noisier than the other machine, because they are all solid steel.
Another difference: The needle bars in the Tajimas and Barudans are made of steel but hollow, the Happys are solid steel. If, by mistake, you hit a hoop you'll most likely will bend the needle bars and have to replace them, with the Happy this will never happened. Just straight the pressure foot, put a new needle and you are ready to go.
Hope this help.

Do you have to have any special software to run it?
