Hi, please i have a Melco 10/12 embroidery machine, i was using it to run t/shirts, the first color finish and was to change to the next when the machine stop and started showing me an error message that (PENSPHERAL HAS CAP FRAME INSTALLED, BUT YOU HAVE NOT SELECTED CAP HOOP) and under the screen shows me a message that says Incompatible hoop selected. I have tried severally to change it to flat but unable to do that. PLEASE I NEED HELP!

pls i need help, the service and Statistics in my Melco 10/12 is not activated, how do i activate it and do you know anyone that has z drive motor for sale?

you have a bad cap sensor.
There are two possible fixes,
1) insert a cap driver into each slot and isolate the bad sensor. you will need to replace the sensor, and they may still be available through Melco.
2) Sometimes you can try turning off the trimmer in the setup. This is not a guaranteed fix but it might work as it has for us in the past.
to turn off the trimmer; press and hold the up, down and control keys while turning the machine on. then scroll through and turn the trimmer off.
