Hix N-840D Air-Automatic Press 16"X20" 220V- $800

This press uses 220V... not 110V. It cost us $125 for an electrician to run a 220V plug for this unit since we didn't already have a 220V outlet near where we needed this press.

$800... We are selling a Hix N-840D Air-Automatic Press 16"X20". We already have 3 others and this one has not been used as much. We need the room where this sits on a work-bench for another direct-to-garment printer, and with space limited, something has to go.

It works perfectly... is clean... rubber pad is in good condition BUT does need some contact cement to hold it down a little better since one corner of the rubber pad can move a little.

This is an AIR-AUTOMATIC. That means you get consistent pressure and DO NOT have to screw around with adjusting a manual turn-knob when switching between thinner garments like t-shirts and thicker garments like sweats/fleece (or when using a pillow-pad). We switched to using air-automatics several years ago, and we would NEVER go back to a MANUAL press... not even the semi-auto-pop-open ones. This machine will allow for FASTER production and make the strain on the user/operator much, much less... especially when pressing garments for hours and hours at a time.

· Push the handle down slightly and the air assist takes over, applies the set psi pressure, then will release on its own when the time has elapsed.
· Just set the air psi and no other pressure adjustment is needed in between products of different thickness.

· Calibrated digital temperature control is adjustable up to 450°F (232°C) and displays the current temperature.
· Release button allows you to open up the platen before the time has elapsed so that you can press out wrinkles.
