I am looking for a 15cm Hoopmaster for my wife. I found one used but it is an 18cm. If i bought that could i have my friend machine a bushing for the fixture to drop it down from a 18 to a 15 and would it work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You

Re: Hoopmaster question
I have been doing embroidery for over 20 years and I have only used my 18cm hoops about 2 times. It depends on what your wife will be sewing on. If she does lots of embroidering definitely start out with the size she will use. The last thing I want to do is be messing around trying to make something work when I could have originally purchased the right size to begin with. Just my opinion!

Re: Hoopmaster question
I'm so new to this whole world that I shouldn't even be saying anything but I recently purchased a whole set of hoopmaster and mighty hoop equipment and if you have someone with some talent it would be very possible to build a sleeve of sorts to center the smaller hoops in the fixture. I'm cheap enough I was considering that very possibility myself.
