I have a customer that wants some applique work done, I have the brochures from Stahl's and they will create the sew disks for me and cut the material, I've done some applique before (with limited success) but haven't used a pro like stahls. I was doing it myself with scissors and a lot of frustration.
My question.... How much do I charge??? I have NO idea how applique pricing works
Anyone help?

stahls will make the job much easier if not painless compared to doing it by hand. the sew disk will create the outline stitch and stop, you place the material inside the outline and hit go, the machine will tack down and sew down. the material will be exactly the same as the outline.
the big question is how long will it take to run and what is the cost for material/sew disk. all of this has to be factored into your final price.
do you know how much your business needs to make per hour to operate? if so, then you know how much you need to charge per 1k stitches. the news article from Impressions below provides more detail at the bottom of the article.
