Importance of signs and posters

Hey folks,
Last week I had an excursion with my friends. We enjoyed the time a lot except in one spot. It was a museum, and the difficulty we face was a lack of proper signs and posters.
We all were visiting that place for the first time and not at all familiar with it. There were no persons for proper guidance also. We faced a tough time there rather than enjoyment.
From that experience, I understood the importance of signs and posters in the proper place.
Do you guys face any similar experience in your life?
