Inserting a stitch cut

I have a fusion fill shape but on True view it is showing a solid tack stitch running right through it where all other tack stiches when not covered by the design are shown as dashed and do not appear in the True View, they also show a triangle symbol to denote a cut? how can I change the tack stitch not covered by the completed design into a dashed/cut stitch.

Thanks, Matt

It sounds like the segment got out of the sequence that you want, therefore it is stitching on top of fill when it should come earlier in the sequence before the fill happens. Turn off true view and select the tack stitch (so it turns white). Open the Color-Object list and see where the selected segment happens in the sequence. If it looks like this is the problem, you can resequence the selected segment earlier in the file to the place that makes sense to have that connector.

Another thing that it could be is that the end command got moved for that object. With the problem object selected, click on the Reshape Object/Values tool. Where is the plus sign located (you might have to zoom out)? If it is far off of the object and your connectors are set to run or jump within that distance, it won't cut the thread. You can move the cross over to the desired end point on the object to fix it.
