Hello all, I just joined DigitSmith! I am a proud owner of a Melco EMT machine, but I am having some trouble with it. I keep getting thread break errors, but the thread is not breaking, it just keeps slipping from the needle. Bobbin looks good, needle was just replaced and thread seems fine, I am not sure what could be causing this issue. Does anyone have a possible solution?

I'm also new - haven't checked in for a while. Most likely you have a timing issue with your needles. I had my machines and business for 17 years - best advise is to get a great technician and have your machine serviced at least once a year. I still have my EMT 1 head and it's my original machine - will take it to the grave with me - GREAT machines. I also have a 4 head in great condition I'm trying to sell since I've retired and closed my business. If you have need of an additional machine I do have it posted here and have just reduced the price to 7500.00. (paid 42K new) (no shipping included) Located in Fort Worth TX. Best of luck with your machine - when they are well maintained - lots of fun!

Is the needle in correctly and not backwards? Is this happening on every needle or just one? When does this happen? In the middle of embroidering or after a trim? Sometimes increasing the tail length can help if the thread is pulling out of the needle after starting to embroider again after a trim.
