Looking for start-up machine

Hi everyone,

I am very new to this and would love some advice/help.

We have a small boutique with handbags, duffles, luggage, etc. We have been sending out our embroidery items to a local shop; however, over the past few months the turnaround time to get our items back has been getting a little ridiculous (3-4weeks). It has been causing some frustration with our clients and I don't want this to effect our business.

I would like to see about purchasing an embroidery machine so I could do the work. If anyone has any advice on what type of machine is best for beginners, I would really appreciate it. We are located in GA...

Thanks so much in advance...

Hi KMBREW,

I also have an embroidery company. I recently purchased a HAPPY Embroidery Machine. It runs up to 1000 stitches per minute and has 12 different needles. If you want to increase your output and decrease your lead time I would look into something like that. I have about $11000 into mine (if not more) but it was worth it. I dont know how much you are looking to expand but I am considering selling by complete business or parts of it. I have two Brother Home Machines and the large Happy Machine as well as a web site. That is where I do most of my business. My husband has his own company and that takes up more of my time than it used to and I no longer have time for my business. If you are interested in more let me know. If not I hope that my suggestion for a larger machine and the price estimate was of some assistane.

best regards,

I have a single head Barudan that is perfect for your shop. Please email if you are interested. Has hoops and cap frame if you want to do caps also.

I will have a brother pc 8500 for sale as soon as next Monday the 2nd and a whole lot of extras. I will also include the embroidry disk with a lot of desings on it.
Thanks
