The Melco Stellar is a small single needle machine, with its own controller. It uses 720K disks, but I only have three disks that work. The Stellar is similar to the Melco EP-1 machine, but the EP-1 can go on the Melco Starlan network with the EMC machines as well. The Stellar has its own controller that only takes floppies. They are not in DOS format. I had the old Stellar machine for years and finally found a controller for it on E-Bay. It works, but has a small hoop, only about 4x4 inches, it sews like the EP-1 machines.
