Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Hi everyone. My name is Ryan Shell. I'm the guy Juan is speaking of. What he didn't mention to you is that, before owning my equipment, he has put it up for sale on this site.
That's just one of the many questionable things he's done. My photos. My equipment. I do in fact intend to keep Juan's deposit as I've lost time on the market and have to be out of my space July 15th.
I'll also fully disclose that I've used some serious F'bomb's towards Juan and, even played along with his little game today where he had someone contact me acting like a buyer. It was clear as day what was going on. That's his multiple deposit note above.
So, if you're reading this, it's been quite an insane experience. You might also imagine how terrifying it felt when my operations manager called me last week to say, "Bud, why has some guy name Juan put our equipment up for sale on DigitSmith?"
If you've made it this far, the dryer -- a like new Sprint 3000 -- is for sale. Given that Juan has wasted my time, I'm letting it go at an absurd $21,000.
I can be reached at 212-804-8047. If I were in fact a fraud, which I am not, there's no chance I'd be responding to this.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
We agreed that we would arrive on July 10th, and that we would pay the rest of the money when we pick up the equipment, what I do not understand is why you keep collecting deposits from other people for the same equipment? if I deposited $3000 on June 21, and now why you were wanting a deposit of $ 6k .. how many people have you done this to?
If you were honest you would not have received my deposit but you did, and today you told me that you will not return the money .. we will take you to court for these frauds and we invite other people who have suffered fraud from this man to take him to court to pay. Do not send any deposits to this guy.
FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Enjoy the money for now . there is more people complaining about this guy too.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
1. I did ask for a larger deposit after Juan put equipment... that he DID NOT OWN. On this site. It was incredibly shady as he never mentioned anything of the sort to me.
2. “If I were honest I would not have received my deposit.” Perhaps a lack of understanding of the English language is to blame here. Deposits are normal.
Again, if you’re reading, I hope you’re enjoying this soap opera. What a hot mess.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Trying to tell who the fast talker is here.
I have been to Ryan's shop and bought one of two Kruzers he had...I saw this dryer in person and it is a nice dryer. The pic Juan shows in his sales post is a pic of the Kruzer in Ryans shop. Juans sales post is asking $2800 in the title line but is changed to $3200 when someone responded quickly wanting to buy it. Seems Juan is trying to sell equipment which is not his without the knowledge of the person who owns it. Ryan was asking $2500 for the Kruzer when he offered it for sale about a month ago.
Seems the solution for Juan is to pony up the balance and meet Ryan and pick up the dryer!?!?!?
Here is a sales post by Juan from two days ago:
M&R Kruzer 6 colors 4 stations almost Brand New only 5 month old.
Price:$3200
Kruzer is M&R’s most affordable entry-level manual screen printing press. Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Seems as if Juan should have until July 10 to pick it up. That is what the deposit bought.
Ryan did email me today and offered to sell me the dryer at a further reduced price. He did ask for a deposit. So apparently he is going back on his word of giving Juan until July 10th to finish the purchase and pick it up.
He asked for a deposit when I bought the Kruzer but I refused and told him I would bring cash and pick it up that afternoon. He countered for pick up by noon the next day. The transaction went as planned the next day.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Nice to hear from you. Hope the Kruzer is doing well! I did reach out today after Juan called me yet again yesterday threatening our deal. He constantly made me feel like something was wrong.
He’s more than welcome to complete the deal. If he walks, as he’s stated, his deposit is lost. In my eyes the deal is dead based on his actions.
You’ve seen our ship and know we’re legit. You didn’t need a deposit given the low amount so I let it slide. You also quickly came for pickup and it was a normal deal.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Here is a picture showing another INVOICE that you sent to another company Yesterday June 26th asking for $10k deposit for the Dryer.. how do you want me to trust you when you are negotiating the same dryer with another 3 guys on the same time? we had a deal right? you are a lier my friend.. :)
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Just because...
This invoice Juan has shown is from the buyer HE SET UP. This was the second of two people I believe he tried to "trick" me.
When the first prospect emailed yesterday... with his same spelling mistakes and language characteristics, I forwarded him the email saying they might be a buyer. You know, since he was trying to resell my equipment... the equipment he didn't actually own.
When this second person came around I was just flat out annoyed at this totally insane behavior and played along. I 100% knew what Juan was doing. Why? I have no darn clue. I had lost all faith in his ability to compete the deal.
This, just one day after he called me yelling at me demanding that I ADD things to the deal that we had not agreed on.
If you've read this far in this thread, you must really be enjoying the soap opera. I should continue to point out the fact that I'm not hiding from this discussion.
What I would also note is the next time someone refuses a PayPal deposit and requires a wire... folks like Juan are to thank.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
I was asked for a $11,000 deposit from Ryan for this same dryer, but I decided to let it go because I thought it was a lot of money to risk it like that, I'm greatful I didn't do it.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
For anyone following, the person responding above was the person Juan had contact me trying to also purchase the dryer. I knew he put them up to it and even disclosed that someone else had reached out. The amount was actually $10,000... I played along with his childish charade to see how far they’d go.
Just further insanity from an individual that has been Shady since day one.
From posting equipment they don’t own, to trickery and deception. You can decide for yourself who is the fraud.
It’s unfortunate that this site allows individuals such as Juan be part of the community.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Ryan I will not play your game I'm busy and you're out of business trying to collect deposits from other companies.
The only thing I can tell other persons who are negotiating with Ryan is DON'T give any deposit via Paypal .. if they are going to buy something go to he's location and pay and pick up the equipment ..
I notified paypal of your negotiations and that you have taken deposits from other people. I sent them all the Proofs, emails and text messages so they know what you are doing ... besides they confirmed me that you already have open another 2 claims ..
Good Luck Ryan
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
Juan, you're just an all around moron.
1. Deposits are normal when you're dealing with expensive equipment and taking things off the market.
2. I do tons of transactions with PayPal. Out of curiosity, I did just look. The only claim is yours. Just another lie you like to spout off.
You're a real prick. And a very very odd bird.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
From the same ad, I was working with Ryan to purchase a Barudan 6 head embroidery machine. I too was asked to send a deposit. Although I thought the deposit was high, we negotiated like normal people do and came to an agreement on $3,000 ...reasonable for both parties. I wasn't the only one interested in his machine as they are hard to find. I paid the small deposit then drove 3,400 miles from Boise, ID to St. Louis over Memorial Day weekend (4 straight days of driving!!!) to pick up the machine. The machine was exactly what was described in the ad and was probably used less than he estimated. Ryan arranged for a forklift at his own expense to get the machine out of the builing, onto the ground and into my trailer.
I even left the hat hooping station behind (my fault) and Ryan's manager shipped it to me.
Ryan could have ran off with my deposit. He didn't. Ryan did more than he committed to for me and he's a solid dude.
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
I was going to stay quiet regarding Ryan at Print Poets...
However - we had reached a deal with him to purchase his press on May 18th - and, asked him to write up a purchase agreement so we could move forward...
On May 24th - Ryan informed us that he had just sold the press to someone else...
I have no problem believing that he continues to shop for new buyers that will pay more - even after a deal is made...
Re: Mini Sprint 3000 FRAUD ALERT
True story. The catch here is that before any funds were exchanged another deal came up and money was presented. It's that simple, and what I explained over email. There's zero comparison to this **** show with Juan.
1. No deposit, which is the important thing.
2. I informed you immediately.
3. At any given time multiple people may be in a discussion for equipment, especially when it's first offered. During our discussions you had someone come inspect the equipment and said, "My brother says you have a clean shop." It just happens that during that timeline, someone else stepped in and snatched up the equipment.
4. Also, keeping us all honest, we started talking on the 18th, but on the 23rd you'd still not provided a deposit, meaning, no firm deal, and that's when your brother came for a viewing. I won't get all Juan'ie (I just made that up) and post the email proving as such.
Sorry you have hard feelings around that, Eric. But neither of us are as insane as what's transpired with Juan.
