I didn't see too many replies on these intros but hey here I am! I'm Not "new" to this site and have frequently visited for many years now. I started a screen printing biz in 2008...ampedimage.com and built it into full time work. I added wide format sublimation for a full color shirt option that has turned out great. I'm now on the lookout for an embroidery setup to add to my shop. Leaning towards a Melco setup as people seem happy with those machines and the techs live very close to me. Thanks for reading! -John

Re: New Member intro
I am glad you posted! With your experience you can really help many if you have the time and inclination to do so. I am interested to hear more about your leaning more to Melco... since having techs close is important.. but if that is your only reasoning I would question that. Are they prone to needing techs nearby? Please think about the types of items you want to sew...(sewing field size) the quantities you think you prefer to take on as orders and also consider how good (or not) you are at handling mechanical issues yourself.
