Hello, I'm new to this whole thing hopefully you guys can help me out...
I'm looking for a NEW state of the art embroidering machine for commercial use. I am looking for something with a minimum sewing area of 16" x 16" sq. Stitch quality is very important to me as well. Single head machine. After doing a little research I came across Happy, Barudan, and Tajima Sumo.. Not sure what the best is or if there are other things out there.. Any input is GREATLY appreciated.. Also I have a few questions about converting non copyrighted images to stitch files but I'll save that for another time. Thank you!
Re: New to the sewing game - HELP!
any of these options should do you well. That SUMO has a very large sewing field so that might be the deciding factor? Also the advertised sewing field is usually larger than the actual sewing field you will be comfortable using... to avoid crashing into your sash! I tend to leave at least a half inch on the sides... as I have tried sewing through multiple sashes and I just cannot seem to get a stitch to hold! lol

Melco is pretty good and has a high speed stitch rate. What questions do you have about converting files?
