That's about what I remember paying for one new. $500 to $1000 is the market rate for it. Not trying to beat you up, but don't want you to wonder why it doesn't budge. I think mine came with some screens too.

Used properly they are a fantastic piece of equipment.

This pic is from Lawson's site.
No offense, but please do your homework before slandering a price.

It's only worth what someone will pay for it. Good luck getting 50% of retail.

I bought one at ISS Long Beach... maybe not an L4, but it did all of our M3 frames just fine. It served us really well once we learned how to use it. Great piece of equipment. When I shut that company down 6 years ago I sold it for $500 plus freight. I personally don't see how anyone could stretch frames manually. A table is the only way to do it consistently and quickly.

Before you think someone is slandering your price, check your reality. I wouldn't depend on Lawson's posted retail prices. They sell for a lot less than that when you get down to making a deal with them. News flash, everyone else makes a deal too.

The reality of it is that you are competing with Stretch Device's show specials and the 3 other units that are for sale at about $1000 asking price. Your table is 3 inches larger in one dimension and 1 inch in the other dimension than the L2. I'm not really sure what size that is for. It's certainly not for jumbo prints.... and everyone else will be printing 23x31. That said, this industry never fails to amaze me... I'm sure someone has a great use for a frame that is a couple of inches larger than 23x31.
