I am thinking about starting an embroidery business and would like to gather more information before I start. I would like to go to some sort of convention/trade show to learn more. Is there a specific convention you guys would recommend? I have seen an advertisement for EmbroideryMart but I've seen ISS more throughout these posts. Also, does anyone know if ISS you have to have a business started already or newcomers are welcome also?
Thanks for any input!

Re: Convention/Trade Shows
The NNEP Shows are helpful (Embroidery Mart is one) My company, EnMart is exhibiting there in July. They have a lot of seminars and you can see vendors as well. EnMart also exhibits at the ISS Shows. There are seminars there too, and the selection of vendors might be a little bigger than the NNEP shows, although I couldn't swear to that.
I'm thinking the admission fee for the NNEP shows would be a bit cheaper, but I haven't really compared.
