We run a business from our home and have inconsistant business coming in. I know we would have more than we could ever want if we had a store front, but do not want to go that route right now for various reasons (mainly because we have a three year old at home right now). We would like to have more steady business but do not want to waste a lot of money on advertising that doesn't work. What would be the most effective form of advertising? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Good advertising ideas?
I do not advertise my embroidery business. I have a lady who created my website and she puts my website in the search engines and does the advertising for me. They are reasonable on pricing. I pay $20 a month for web hosting. If I want to add a picture to my website that is included in the web hosting price. If you like her info, just email me at karensemb@dishmail.net
