I have an epson 1400 and thinking about using it for sublimation. I want to transfer onto light and dark cotton. Has anyone had any experience with this???????
Re: Epson 1400
I've no experience with this printer or with sublimation. But from what I've ready, sub is not for cotton - won't work. chromablast is for cotton, sub is for poly Hopefully someone with experience will chime in.
Re: Epson 1400
We sell sublimation supplies and also do sublimation. You're exactly correct, sublimation is for 100% polyester. ChromaBlast is for cotton and only works on light fabrics. There is no option for dark cotton that I'm aware of.

Hello, enmartian is quite correct, you can only sublimate dark onto light and only then if the fabric has a high polyester content (or finish). If you can get around this little problem, sublimation is without doubt a fine method of printing. I have been in this particular field over 20 years starting with one of the first Xpres copiers!
