Does anyone know the max size top to bottom a design can be to embroider on a flex fit baseball cap? I have a logo that was digitized 4'' tall by 3.2'' wide. When I do a trace, I get a limit error. I scaled down the design to make it 3'' tall but still get the limit. My machine is a Toyota 850 and I have a 270 cap frame
Thanks in advance

Thanks much.

I tell customers 2" high. Larger designs become lost on low profile hats.

Typically for a 6 panel low profile cap you can go up to 2.25" high. For a 5 panel high-crown you can go up to 2.5" high. I have stretched these numbers a little higher, but it is not recommended.
Agree with Jen, on a low-pro cap, 2" is about as big as you can go if the design is intricate, cause then you can have registration issues, with intricate designs cause of the pull on the arm from the frame.

Bummer, I can run up to 2.65 inches high on either a Brother or a Tajima!

Usually, 2.25" tall on a cap front.
