Old Melco Starlet Machine Help!!!!

Hi all:)
I have recently registered to your site.

I own a small sign shop in the UK and have recently purchased a very old Melco Starlet twin head single colour machine.
The machine is in very good condition and the person I bought it of has had it in storage over 10 years.
I am trying desperatley to get this machine to read floppy disks and all it comes up with is "BAD SECTOR"!
I have done lots of research and I have found it is the PC, Operating System and floppy drive controller that are crucial to formatting a disk for these machine as they use a very early way of doing this!
I have built myself 2 machines out of old parts one running Windows 95 and the other Windows 98. Both of these are dated about 1997!
I am having no luck using the onboard floppy controllers to format these!
I am now looking for someone who knows what floppy controller card I need as I know what Disk Controller chip is needed but I cannot find any way of finding a card with it on?
Or even better someone who can supply me one?:D
