Melco Amaya Bravo vs XTS

My wife is planning to start business from home. We have no prior experience with this business. We looked at various machines and it seems like a single head Amaya is a good way to start. I talked to Melco for a new machine and they have the Bravo and the XTS packages. The best I can tell Bravo has a top speed of 1000 spm and it cannot be networked, and it comes with Lite version of DesignShop and the Amaya OS but otherwise it seems like a good overall starter machine. XTS looks to be more expensive than we like to start with. We are also looking at used Amaya XTs.

Does anyone have any advice in particular for Bravo?

thx!

Both the Bravo and XTS are great machines. The Bravo is the exact same body as the XTS, the limitations on the Bravo are software related. The max sew field and sewing speed are the two biggest differences.

I am a technician and trainer for both machines and if you have questions regarding the machines, please feel free to call me at 402-890-2742.

I have the Amaya XTS bought my first in Oct 2010 and my second in April 2010. Go for the best that way if you want to expand you can, They are great machines and I love mine

I own two barudan 2013 and I am buying new Amaya. Never had any problems with Barudan and service has been second to none. But I am growing to fast and I like the expandibilty of Melco's. If I could sell my barudan and get melco I think I would
