This actually happened this week!!!!!

Thought you all might get a kick out of this.
I just took a call from the service, I called within 5 minutes or so. When the guy answered he ask what took me so long? I responded by saying I was sorry but I called as soon as quick as I could. I then ask whats the problem? He stated it's my dryer. I said which dryer, gas or electric? He said its a Lawson. I said sir M&R does not make that dryer. He responded by saying I know but they are closed and don't have 24-hour service. Then proceded to tell me "I must know whats wrong" and kept telling me his issue. I repeated several times, sir M&R does not make that dryer, therefore I have no clue as to the way it's made. He again kept begging to help. I then said "make sure its plugged in".... Then complete silence..... He said thanks you got it, works fine now and hung up!!!

Can you believe that? You can't make this stuff up.

Actually I am third on the list. This was taken by Todd Petty who was on call. I don't know if I would of been so patient!!

Todd stopped by here the other day. I forgot he lives in Nashville; he lives two exits away from me. Good to know he's that close even though I don't own M&R equipment cept a Nuarc.......yet. Anyway we go back almost 20 ys now and I can tell you he's got more stories than you can shake a stick at. Too bad most of them will never be told!
There was this one about going through customs in Honduras or somewhere which was priceless........

True Story No Joke!
About 12 years ago this week, I was doing some training for a great guy name George Forero who was the M&R Dealer for Latin America. It was in Mexico City in a textile factory
and George was there for a trade show, and he called and said I need a favor! I sold a customer a M&R Saturn Press and he needs help putting it back together, because he
couldnt get it through the door in his casa. He had told the guy to take off the vacuum
bed, screen carrage and push it through. I said no problem, it should take a couple of hours max. He said , I need another favor! He had to entertain customers so we couldnt
leave until about 10:00pm and it was in a town called Puebla about 2 hours away! No
problem. We arrived at about 12:30am to this beautiful little casa. This guy was an artist
and was going to print serigraphs in a spare bedroom. He was so happy to see us! He told
us he wasnt very good with tools, so he got his auto mechanic to remove the bed! He was
a delightful guy! He pointed us to the room and said, "here it is".He was so happy! The
mechanic had misunderstood the customer and had the Whole Machine taken apart to the bolt. There must have been a thousand pieces with bolts and weldments, and the main
frame in the corner. Every part perfectly lined up covering the whole room! George about
had a heart attack! The customer was so happy, and said How did we do? I looked at George and said man, I am not a magician! It will take factory blueprints and a few days
at best! George didnt lose his cool and told the guy he would work on it, but it would take a couple of weeks! George replaced it with another new press with out the vacuum
table which was put on easily in the same room! True Story!

I am sitting at home reading this to my wife and we are both laughing so hard knowing George we can hardly breath! This is a good one!

George is the Best! I could write a book about times with him.
It was never dull. I love his accent, grunts, and heavy sighs!
He is a good egg.

Rich is too modest. I've been in his office with him after hours, and he'd pick up the phone after a few rings and diagnose a problem with a manual press or a 10 year old automatic.

That's why there is no more Advance-American or Precision, we'd go home Friday night and worry about your problems Monday morning.

Rich knew the secret....ultimate SERVICE.
