Hello,
I want to start my own embroidery business doing custom t-shirts, etc. for birthdays, holidays, etc.
I would like recommendations on a good first machine and things to look for, etc. I know virtually nothing about the machines.
Any good sites/posts with a good rundown?
Help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Re: Good First Machine?
try to find a place that will RENT you a machine on a short term basis? A local or regional home sewing shop might offer that OR they may have members that you could meet that don't use theirs? My reasoning is that in my experience many people getting into embroidery are the same as people buying expensive exercise equipment. BEST of intentions but the machine ends up sitting in the garage! They just do not realize the work and time needed... they give up.
