Our customers are asking for logos where the letters are 3-5 millimeters high. The quality og the text in that size are often poor, and a lot of times the digitisers want to increase the size of the text before they will digitise it.
Are there any digitisers out there that are really good at digitising of logos with small lettering included?

Do you have the capability of using 60 wt. thread and the small needles. That would be the only way to do that small a lettering. If you do, send the lettering to me and I will set that p for you.

As dgabus has suggested, the best option is finer thread and small needles. However, unless you have the option to set your machine up in this way specificaly it can be very time consuming and uneconomic for short runs.
If this is the case, the only option is to either increase the size/layout of the letters, or merely give an impression (i.e. when you have mottos in scrolls on heraldic badges, some single line stitching can look very effective).
The other thing to bear in mind, though, is that the quality will always be affected by the nature of the embroidered material. Good lettering is easier on densely woven, soft fibre cloth. If you are having to do relatively open weave pique, knitted from a robust fibre, it will be impossible to create small even letters, or even even edges! In such cases, choice of needle and backing is vital.
