Done minor amounts of sublimation, but never printed any transfers myself. Last time I looked into this, the printers were not as reliable (lot of clogs, etc.) as I have been told they have become.
Looking between a Sawgrass v800 or a Ricoh Gx7000. Both say they handle 13"x19" which I assume is more realistic to 12"x18" as nothing ever prints to the edge yet the Ricoh is half the price.
Anybody using these? Tried them? Has both?!
Not looking to do "all over" printing with this, obviously, just more spot sublimation, maybe some mugs, custom tiles, etc. For all larger formats, I will continue outsourcing.
Any information from someone besides a sales rep is appreciated!!

I went with the Sawgrass V800 for the price of it as part of a Complete Business Package on HeatPressNation.com.
I will post anything I note about it here since no one else has commented back to this for others wondering the same questions as I was.

We just replaced our 7700 with a SG800 with no complaints. I think they use the same print head and I haven't noticed any difference in print quality. Was a little upset having to replace the 7700 but it ended up dying on us. I think we had a head strike which caused the printer to malfunction. That's the only problem with these desktops, you cant replace the heads. Im sure you can one way or another but would be cheaper to by a new one.
