I have only been in business a short time, and my biggest problem still is puckering on my Amaya XT. I have a new client that insists on placing there logo on a cotton/poly blend broadcloth type shirt. When they used knits I always ordered heavy knits due to the size of there logo (16,943 stitches, 3.5" X 2.5"). Any help would be appreciated.

I can't give you a step by step instruction, but you have to edit the embroidery file to reduce the density of the stitches. One file will not look great for all fabrics. A good digitizer should be able to make the necessary edits specifically for the fabric like reducing stitch density, changing the stitch direction and the sequence design elements are embroidered. Sometimes it's even necessary to omit very tiny details. So if you outsource your digitizing, tell your digitizer the type of fabric and weight and that your current file causes puckering. He/she should know what to do.

Thanks for the answer! I was kind of thought that's where my problem was but I just needed some conformation on it.

No problem. Also, it's nice if you or your digitizer can put a note on the run sheet what fabric the file was intended for. You'd save yourself a lot of headache in the future!

I also have notes on all run sheets that specify which fabric the file is for. If you don't, after a while when you've accumulated lots of orders it will start to get confusing if you're not a digitizer yourself.
