My name is Russell. I live in Eastern Shore of Maryland. I just purchased a new Amaya xt 16 needle made by melco. I have been in the sign industry for 16 years but have only had my Amaya for about 4 months. I choose not to pay the extra $5000 for melco digitizing software- instead i spent $1000 on Corel Draw X3. It is pretty awsome, as well as all the different filters to export all the various machines. You can even upgrade X3 for another $800 for the pro version (advanced digitizing) Hope this help. If any one out there has any advice on pricing, for which i am researching please now let me know. For the people who do a lot of embroidery do you double the price of the garment then stitch count and a $2. hoop charge. And do you embroider other peoples garments or just one s your store sell. thanks
Re: Help on Pricing
Looking forward to hearing some answers on this question.
I didn't know you could buy your own digitizing software for the machines.
I learned something new today, again!!
