Need Advice

I have to do some text on the back of polo shirts. If I stitched out and cut the joining threads between letters, there is a risk of unravelling. I don't like the idea of leaving the joining threads as it doesn't look very nice. So, I can change the stitch order of letters so that each letter is tied off, which looks good on the right side but obviously leaves lots of tails on the back. To my mind, the front is the most important, but it would be nice if the back looked neat too. What do most of you do when stitching a lot of text? Would appreciate your advice.
Many thanks

if it is a small run, RNK Distributing has a line from Floriani of soft iron on pellon stuff in white, tan or black... that you press onto the back of your embroidery (without too much pressure, you don't want to give the embroidery a "Sheen" from the iron).... but it works like a charm.... even for baby items! No more chafing from the backside of your embroidery... but like I said, it depends on quantity and your pricepoint... might be an upsell to distinguish you from the competition?

Many thanks for reply. I do have some fusible fine mesh to put on the back which should hide those numerous tails once trimmed and be softer for the skin. It's only 4 polos so not too bad. I just hate to see those joining stitches which don't always sink into the material, often see them on shop bought items. Thanks again.
