I am screenprinting 100% Nylon and know to use catalyst. The issue is the company I purchased the uniforms from will not share additional information regarding the dry time and heat temperature on the conveyor dryer. We are also screen printing a design on the 100% high luster polyester pants and need the same instructions.
I appreciate any help I can get on this.
Re: Nylon Material Printing/Drying
You can print the 100% Poly the same as you print any of your T-shirts. Polyester follows the same rules as 100% cotton and 50/50.
The Nylon is a different creature. When we print 100% nylon stuff we just flash cure it. You have to be careful though as if you don't do it long enough, it will wash off, if you do it too long, you'll scorch the garment. It's kinda one of those things, you can't really use the same formula every time. It's sort of a fly by wire kinds thing.
