I have been EXTREMELY pleased with Brent. He answered all my questions and then some when I PM'd him. His communication skills are definitely a positive thing. I'm new to this whole scene and he's been helping me out ever step of the way.

I'm very glad I sent him a PM and have never looked back (even with offers of "free trials")... I don't need to because I'm satisfied where I am.

We have been using Steve at gnizitigid@gmail.com for the last 6 months. We have been very happy with the work he has done. The turn around time has been very quick, the quality has been outstanding, the price is great and when something needs to be editted, Steve is very quick about getting the digitizing back.

If you are looking for someone to do digitizing, give him a shot.

I think you have a very low self-esteem and the only way you can feel powerful is to come on a forum and tell people how to act, think, etc.

I kinda feel sorry for people like you, jmd, etc. -but- the world is full of under achievers, wannabes, etc.

I think you should be the MOD here at DigitSmith ... it might make you feel ... ummmm ... strong ;-) LOL

Don't mind this type of thing a bit as far as I'm concerned, pushing your services, but, if you don't show your prices, don't put your name on here. That's misleading.

One other thing I would like to see in this type of post, is where you're located, generally.

U.S., or other country, it don't matter, but it helps to know as far as communication goes.

Agreed!

I also use Steve at gnizitigid@gmail.com
I am very happy with everything he has done for me.
If I request an edit I get it back quickly.
Once I found him I stopped doing my own digitizing, he is fast and price is great.
If I need a "small adjustment" for the particular fabric I'm working on, (this only happened once) I do it myself, 2 or 3 minutes and I'm up and running with the order.
Give him a try

Steve was wonderful to work with. This past time was my first and I had a few changes which he made for me with a very quick response time.
I will definitely use Steve again and pass his information on to my colleagues.
Thanks Mate!

I personally do not recommend outsourcing the digitizing. The only way to get top quality embroidery is to sew out a sample prior to going to production. Then go back and fix the issues with the design. Yes this takes time and money but this is the only way to insure the design will sew beautifully on the specific fabric you are going to embroider. How can you possibly work with someone overseas to make revisions?
Yes this is a cheaper option but as we all know you get what you pay for!

Regards,

Brian

Wholesale Hats specializes in embroidering and screen printing hats, caps, tees, polos, jackets, and shirts. The company's product line includes hundreds of styles of wholesale caps and wholesale hats, many of which can be embroidered with a personalized logo.

Steve(gnizitigid@gmail.com) does all my digitizing and he is the best I've used by far. I can do a little myself but with the quality and the shortness of time it takes for him to fix one up for me, I can't beat it. I highly recommend giving him a shot. He's great at what he does.

Got to love people that can actually read and follow directions. Only leaves you to wonder...

I have used harleydude777 Brent. He got my digitizing done really fast had it to me in 4 hours or so. Was amazed at the attention to detail that he has. He answered each and every email that i sent in a very timely manner. He edited my design quickly also.

He really did go above and beyond what I expected. Extremely happy with his work! Really made me look like a profesional embroiderer even though i just started my business.

Thanks again Brent!

More reviews please

Hi davidoakeas,

I'm wondering why you want more reviews on this topic? You have requested more reviews 4 times in this one thread only or is it to bump the thread back up for people to read again?

Are you using a digitizer at the moment? pls share your digitizers contact and how they are and what rates you pay. I would very much like to see what rates are being offered.

Thanks.

Hey Dave-

Do what I did.... Make digitizers prove how well they are at their job. I offered a challenge where I gave the same design to everyone that participated so I could compare apples to apples. Anyway this thread link should give you an idea. Hope this helps.

We are new to the business and it didn't take long for us to relize that we needed to focus on the art of embroidery, not the art of digitizing. We took some images to our local embroidery shop that offered digitizing as a service. The end product was horrible and the customer service was worse! Not to mention that the seventy dollars she charged was something I would have a hard time passing along to potential customers. We were bummed.

I remembered seeing a couple threads on this forom with folks offering what seemd to be quite affordable digitizing. We decided to give it a try, and after poking around a bit it became evidant that these vendors were actually overseas. This was disapointing to say the least.

I found a thread started by "harleydude777". Brent has been the best thing that has happened to our business. I can't speak harshley of the other digitizers on this forom because we havn't used any others.

Brent understands what it takes to produce a quality product. He understands our limitations and works his *** off to make things work. His pride in his work shows and is priceless. It is reflected in our final product we give our customers. The patterens he sends us run efficiently and smooth. He is old-school and hand punches most of our images for us. Check out our gallery in our website @ albatrossembroidery.com to see some of his work.

Customer service with Brent is outstanding. I find his pricing to be more than reasonable. He doesn't charge by the stitch per/say, but rather by the complexity of the pattern. In other words- im not paying for 20,000 stitchesw of fill. Most of his work for us is in the 10-20 dollar range. His turnaround time has always been less than 24hrs., and more than once he has accomidated me on rush orders.

Best of all......he is an American working in America the same as me. I will support American products whenever possable. Drop him a line and see what he can do for you,
you won't be dissapointed. Brent Burghy

To all forum members.

This is to inform you that steve at gnizitigid is using additional usernames on this forum as well as t-shirt forum to promote his own services pretending to be his loyal customers.

Rodney of t-shirt forum has already removed all their posts on:
http://www.t-shirtforums.com/embroidery/t154450-2.html

Davidoakes is one of his fake usernames for promotion.

Attached is an email I have received from him and it clearly shows its the same person marketing himself. If you read all the messages from Davidoakes, you will realise all his messages are about promoting his own services.

I won't be surprised if there are still more usernames on this forum that he is using.

This forum is not for marketing. It is to share your knowledge with others and help them out where you can, instead of making people think that you are doing half the worlds digitizing.

Thankyou.

Rishi

Hi Rishi,

I know you are good person, but let us not go on personal things. Anyone can make emails like you attached screen shot, i am also server admin thats why i know these things and someone used our emails to destroy our reputation in social communities before (Competitors). I am against anything which is used personally to destroy once reputation because we have faced it from competitors.

For example here in India we use Connect IP's which are shared among many users. Can you send me Email Headers by PM to check and i will check IP's

For another thing, i would like to know what prices you offer for your digitizing services. Do u take paypal ? Can u send me PM as well as for that.

http://www.powerstitch.com/ is nice site in layout and design

Hi Rishi,

Here is my explanation on your questions.

I send my 75% work to Steve, and rest work to 2 other digitizers. Due to that i have created a common account which we both can check and used Google Email Fetcher facilities

https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=21288
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=29386

Not only with Steve, i try to use this method with another digitizers as well because we can check that design is received and sent and reached.

Still i want to shift 50% business from Steve to any other digitizer, i do not want to depend on one digitizer, thats why i sent u email. I will possibley can go with brent as well.

I am checking your other points as well and will reply you.

Hi David,

I know thats good feature to use.

Anyway, moving from these things, i think this thread is good which helped me to see which digirizer is offering which service and at what prices.

Hi Jagan,

Thank you for your post.

The only reason why I am certain of it is because the same usernames have been used on t-shirt forum and rodney probably checked that the messages are coming from the same IP address.

Its not a matter of destroying someones business. If I am running a business I should have that much sense that forums are not used for such purpose. So if he wants to advertise then why use fake usernames?? thats my point. It gives a wrong impression to other readers.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother when I am trying to help the other members here and don't see any appreciation. Good luck to you all.

Rishi

I wanted to bring this back to the top and get more input. I also want to point out to others that are only reading to look at the post count of some of the reviewers and take them with a grain of salt. People don't search to find this thread and then go through the registration process just to post one review of a digitizer they are happy with and then never login again.

I do want to add a review though and to keep a long story short I am less than impressed with cheapdigitizing.com

Design sent was simple text only and was spaced close enough to require very few trims in the whole design. First design came back with 26 trims. After requesting edits twice the 3rd file came back with 35 trims! 4th file came back with fewer trims but could be pathed better and still could have used fewer trims if given just a little bit of thought. Thought was not given to begin/end points of the letters. After all this is simple text. This probably would have been a piece of cake for most digitizers.

Ahh good review, he is one of my competitor for rankings on google.com for "Embroidery Digitizing"

I also wanted to add information for Brent. I thought I had already but can't find it and it may have been in a thread that got trashed or something. In my opinion I should have more than one digitizer in case one isn't able to deliver for some reason.

BBurghy has provided excellent turnaround and good email communication. He has experience with what does and doesn't work and will communicate that to you regarding the designs you send him. I am pleased with his work.

Good post Widners! (I still owe you an email on the info you wanted)

I used the cheapdigitizing.com a few times when we first started. No more. Many of our edits came back with no editing being done. It only took a few to make me move on.

And, like you, I also believe in having a few digitizers available, and Brent (bburghy@mhtc.net) is top notch. The communication is the best I've seen with any digitizer, and I'll continue to use him along with a very few others. His knowledge and skills are some of the best, he worked with me on a design I had problems with until it was sorted out. Fantastic service, good turn arounds.

And, Steve is one I use as well, no complaints at all. Quality work, fast service, edits as I want them, and also seems to digitize for the embroiderer, as does Brent. I'll use them both, as I said, you need a few different ones backing you. I'm sure they both understand.

Good thread!

I totally agree. I have used them both also and they both did good work for me. Glad to know I wasn't the only one with that cheapdigitizing.com experience. Thanks for sharing.

Well I've had a very good experience with the guy at expressdigitising.com, awesome job done just under $8. And remarkable approach towards catering customers, not moving an inch towards asking for payment unless he feels that his customer is completely satisfied.
100% recommended.

Website shows $15 flat rate... Why is the website not accurate?

widners wrote:

I agree with you, there is difference...

I do mostly animal designs and was paying lot of money for these until i found this forum. I sent these designs to all in this thread and here are my reviews...

There is nothing "just under $8" as mentioned by arrowembroidery for expressdigitising.com, they quoted me $60 for each design which is too much as compared to $8 prices or prices mentioned on website...
here is email from Rish
----------------------------------------------------------
Hi Mike,

$60.00 each

do you require the same lions you have sent us or any other lion design will do as long as the size is big enough?

attached are 3 examples.

Rgds,
Rish
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

2nd Review is of Brent, i appreciate that he avoided these designs, here is email from him

"thank you for your inquiry into digitizing these images for you but I am sorry to say that I do not do "portrait" type images.....these would take hours and to break them down without it being a line art image is very tough and verrrry time consuming."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3rd reviews is of CheapDigitizing

It was lot of money to pay if i have to get from them as per $1.75 Per 1000 stitches

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th review is of Steve from gnizitigid@gmail.com and i am happy, i got one design free as first time client and paid $10 for second design. Seems good work...

If any other digitizer on forum to like my designs, please send email at embroiderysplus@gmail.com
