Re: please recommend a machine for me
Hi,
I am not sure if you ever purchased the embroidery machine, but I have a wonderful machine for sale. It's a Husqvarna/Viking Scandinavia 400 with all the add ons. Here's a link to their site http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/global/598.htm . This machine has taken me from hobbyist to small business owner (and mother of 3 daughters with tons of cool clothes now). If you are still looking for a great machine at a great price, please email me for more details. If you've already purchased a machine then best of luck and enjoy.
Thanks,

Look at the Brother PR600 below in the posts for 3500, should fit the bill.

You might look for a Toyota 851.....it's a single needle single head...less moving parts and it should be much less expensive.

For your needs a small home machine would be perfect. I have a Viking Husqvarna Designer SE that would work fine. But you can get a used machine from here or another site (try Craigslist or eBay) and get one for cents on the dollar. I don't personally recommend Singer emb. machines, just never had good luck with them. The ones that cost more originally are probably better quality but buy it used and save $.
