So we have been looking at the Powerhouse 4013 dryer by Workhorse.
Has anyone here experience with this dryer or the bigger 5017 model.
How reliable are they and do they cure waterbased inks as well as advertised?
Re: Powerhouse 4013 dryer by Workhorse
I have a PQ4013 and a PQ5017 in my shop. We feed 3 TAS automatics with multiple colors of all over discharge all runnning at the same time. I specialize in only printing waterbase/discharge in our shop. I only print with plastisol for neck labels. The dryers work better than advertised, and I've not had a single problem in 2 years of production with either dryer. Bulletproof IMHO. The 4013 runs a little hotter than the 5017. Not sure why but it may have to do wth having far less interior volume to continually keep up to temp. The 4013 has similar outlet garment temps at what the control panel says is about 40 degrees cooler than the 5017 when running the same speed. For curing light colored shirts that are just printed with waterbase, no issues at all. Just remember to lower the temp about 30 degreess as the dryers will scorch lighter colors at discharge speed/temp. Feel free to MSG me if you have any specific questions. Happy to answer all.

I was wondering if there is really no one out there who is using one of those dryers.
Thanks for the feedback. So the turbo air knives work well? The air speed is not adjustable like it is on some of he HIX dryers, right?
