Replacing floppy drive

Does anyone have advice about replacing their floppy drive with a USB attachment? I have a 2002 tajima and I'm having no problems with it, but am wondering if I should out of convenience replace the floppy drive with a USB port?

I went wireless on my ZSK machines and it works great. I could have gone to USB but we set one up wireless and decided to switch the entire shop to Wireless instead.
I save the file and just walk over to the machine and open it up. Super Fast and nothing to take to the machine. I would guess you could figure this out for Tajima as well.

I used the Netgear WNCE2001 from Best Buy. I have 8 machines set up this way and it works great. I picked a router that had a usb port and installed a thumb drive on that port to save my sew files. When we save a file to that drive I can go in the back and open that file up from any machine we have since I have them all pointed to the drive.
Works GREAT. Much faster this way than what we did in the past. Not sure this will work on all machines but it worked great for me. The device cost me around $50 a machine plus the cost of the router which was around $180 which included the thumb drive that I used to store the files.

Hello, hopefully someone can help. I have an swf T1201/c I installed a netgear wireless USB capable router, N600 (WNDR3400V2) and connected to the SWF via a copartner 170013-000 (9pin) to RJ45 sieral cable at the comm1 port. The SWF does not see/recognize the router/connection. I also tried the comm2 port. What am I missing? Can and will anyone offer a solution.
