MAKE A TRIP TO CHINA ESPECIALLY COSTAL CITIES AND YOU WILL FIND THE FACTORY OFFERING THE PARTS TO TAJIMA SWF...
CURRENTLY, MANY FAMOUS BRANDS ARE NOW PURCHASING THE PARTS FROM CHINA (SOME EVEN ASSEMBLE) SO AS TO LOWER THE PRODUCTION COST. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT CHINESE EMBROIDERY MACHINES ARE NOT COMPARABLE WITH THOSE FAMOUS BRANDS. BUT, PEOPLE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH CHINESE FAMOUS BRANDS AFTER TESTING. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THERE ARE MANY SENIOR TECHS IN JAPAN BUT JUNIORS IN CHINA.
NOW I KEEP DISTRIBUTING CHINESE MACHINES HERE IN MY COUNTRY AND AROUND REGIONS. MY FATHER TOLD ME NEVER SELL WHAT OTHERS ALSO SELL BECAUSE EVERYONE SELLS THE SAME BRAND(S). SO NOW I AM THE EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR OF MANY CHINESE BRANDS AND TAKE THE MARKET WITH THE HELP FROM CHINA LIKE GOOD PRICES AND SERVICES.

If you can find the reliable supplier in China, you make money then...
How can we find that kind of reliable supplier? Two ways as follows:
1. Language. Poor English communication means that suppliers are not powerful enough to afford a good salesperson. Tons of gramatic mistakes, poor oral English...all that would lower the efficiency. When machine's problems occur, language becomes the biggest barrier.
2. Patience and efficiency.

For 15 year i repair Tajima machines (old ones mostly) and for 7 chinese machines. I must admit that the chinese machines are not (yet) at the same quality level as Tajima. If you obtain a very low price most certain some components will be exactly what you paid for.
You need to know the Tajima machines (the chinese machine are TMEF copies) so you can know what to ask for. In general you need to know more about a product than the one who is selling it to you.
I installed about 50 chinese machine. For all the machines, after instalation, i verified, and if necesary adjusted, needle bar lower dead point, rotary hook timing, frame driving system, reciprocator, piker, tension base, encoder, settings etc.
Mostly i found many untighted screws. Every year i do the revision by the Tahima specification.
ALL the machines work and produce income. All brands of machines have mechanical and electronical problems.
All chinese machines work with DST file.
If a Tajima technician cant repair a chinese machine, either he does'nt want to or he should get another line of busines.
This is also a response to Allan Taylor from who i wait for all the details about his problem with the Richpeace machine (if its a Richpeace), firm with who i have a very good relationship.
There are much to say, but for now that's it.

Richpeace is on my blacklist. The machine marked with this brand is the most incompatible with most digitizing program and files.
I used to think that high price means high quality. But, this principle does not work in China. I was attracted by its high price and finally it turned out to be the most regretful thing I ever did in my life. All its special designs in machines and structures became the giant problems when little tiny problems occur. That's called CHAIN REACTION.
I asked them to send me some parts so that I can do the maintenance. Well, they offered me two options. One is that I repair the machine by myself but the machine would no longer enjoy the guarantee. Another is that I pay all the money (including air tickets accommodation dinner...) to invite their so-called technician to come to my place. When I turned to some TAJIMA technicians here you can easily find in the market for help, they all gave it up because they are totally not fimilar with this machine. STRANGE DESIGN SAID THEM.
Now the machine keep lying in my garage and I'd like to pay some for a guy who knows how to handle it.
REMEMBER MY WORD: NEVER PAY TOO MUCH or TOO LITTLE FOR ONE MACHINE IN CHINA . YOU GOT CHEATED WHEN YOU PAY TOO MUCH AND THE QUALITY IS NOT SATISFIED. YOU ALSO GOT CHEATED WHEN YOU PAY TOO LITTLE BECAUSE THE MACHINE IS SPECIALLY PRODUCED TO MAKE IT WORTH THAT LITTLE AMOUNT.
CHINESE EMBROIDERY MACHINE IS WORTH ALL THAT AMOUNT BETWEEN TOO MUCH AND TOO LITTLE.

I was in China at Richpeace factory in 2007 ans this summer and I had a good communication with all people
I use Tajima spare parts from Richpeace and are OK
Talking about communication,I have problems with people from Europe who speak english much better

Every market is different.
In some places in the world labor is cheap and having a less productive machine (China Made) may pay off.
I have yet to see any China Machine stand up in production to a good machine.
I only run ZSK machines which are made in Germany and yes they do cost more you get what you pay for. I get much better production, higher quality embroidery, and less issues that would ever require a technicial to come out.
So then lets look at costs.
Yes ZSK cost me more but at the end of the day with paying my production staff I am getting more production and less problems and to me thats well worth the investment.
In America no china machine company has been around very long. Every other trade show there is a new one coming out and all have been pretty much Junk compared to the top brands of equipment.
Korea I may add with SWF is better than China made by far.
Once you own a China Machine good luck selling it they do not hold their value and most good machine companies do not even want to trade them in but no problem if you want to trade in a Good Machine thats not China Made.
Is that a good investment ?
I know there is a place in the market for the "Cheap" machines and I have owned other brands before using ZSK but once you have a good machine like you will never want to go back to running a headache.
Just my opinion on the matter.

Hmmmm. In central american, chinese machine, good cheap. Tech to fix chinese machine, good cheap? In the US, chinese machine cheap. Tech to fix chinese machine, expensive. Tech to fix chinese machine again, more expensive. Tech to fix chinese machine yet again, way more expensive. Walking away from the business because the machine is eating up your profit in repairs and expense, priceless.
Anybody can copy parts. Some do it well and others not so well. I was told by a major manufacturer of optics that the saying goes in China, "it's not right but just about right".
Expert is a relative term. An expert in selling machines is different than one who knows embroidery, digitizing, and machine parameters. I will state that one manufacturer out there really understands the needs of the industry taking into account all the parameters. Guess whom that might be?
