Sewing applique with Tajima

1

what model is your tajima?
but is easy to make frame movement from embroidery software
1-machine make contour-running stitches-to put the applique
2-trim the tread
3-frame move in front-distance you need
4-stop
after you finish to put the appliques pull the bar to right,or press the green button for C machines

TAJIMA ARE INDUSTRIALS(PROFESSIONALS) MACHINES BROTHER NOT!!

BUT THE BEST MACHINE IS THE MACHINE YOU HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as i told you:
the best machine is the machine you have!
I fix and use Tajima machine from 15 years, mostly old models.
I never used trace and features of LCD panels

You seem frustrated so I dont know if my answer will harm or help, but to get my SWF to stop, i just have to program a double color change (red red example) in the digitizing software and put it on "applique" mode in the machine settings and when it comes to a double color, it stops and allows me to move the frame out to apply the applique material and hit start when im ready.... You can also program it in the machine itself i believe using the "OFFSET" function, but thats like a 22 step process and is just easier the other way in my opinion..

Maybe your Tajima is similar, maybe those will help you search for the answer in google (i had no luck there however) .good luck!

Thats unfortunate. I wish they would have just given dgeorge the model # and he could have got the answer back on the 27th of january :( tajima makes so many 2 head machines in different models and controls, it would be impossible to tell them the correct steps without the model. Oh well, we tried to help.
