Started using this printavo.. Definatley some things that can be worked on but I have to tell you I have tried alot of different ones and this one really has some great features.. We have a busy shop that is managing 150-200 orders at any time and just really needed something to make sure that no orders were getting lost or forgotten about. This software takes care of this problem.. check it out at printavo.com

Got a bunch of Printavo updates!

-Printavo has almost 200 owners using it to help manage their shops!
-You can download PDF's of the invoices
-Printavo now costs $24.99 per month since I'm looking to start hiring and growing I need to begin charging. There's a coupon code on the site though ;)
-Many minor features and bugs have been added/fixed
-Just added a tour video you can see here: youtube.com/watch?v=ZcRx-Bbtx14

I appreciate all the support and feedback everyone has been giving me. Thanks so much!!

As mentioned we have invoicing, we have our whiteboard with allocated minutes etc. what I do need is a much better job bag and screen system, with digital history and print specs in the job bag, colour seps files etc to match that of the physical bag. That would be great if anybody had something along those lines?

is printavo accessible from any computer (web-based), so everyone in our facility and our other one can see the jobs and add to them? We use freecrm and it is so complicated to keep up with. I like having all the customer info stored there for future orders, email blasts, or text/sms campaigns (which don't work on their site). I also like having the ability to add to the customers order every time they call with notes and cases that can be created.

Yes! Printavo is web-based which means it's accessible as long as there is an internet connection :) Let me know if you have other questions or suggestions.

You can create a free account (free for 30 days) on the homepage to play around with. Let me know if you want me to setup another demo account to help you out.

Yeah I built the backend with MySQL but just switched to PostgreSQL which is more robust and aligns better with my host :)

Guess what? I was up to 3am last night pushing a huge update to Printavo. Everyone has asked for the ability to add different sizes and items to invoices so I created it!

You can now add any type of item or expense your heart desires (check it out).

Thanks everyone for the support with this product, I think it can definitely help everyone out. I was even talking to a few printers last night at midnight to get more last minute feedback and ideas, you guys are awesome.

Whiteboard.

Interesting, how do you organize that? Orders that are due and details?

Easy, we make a job bag for the film and there is a print order etc. Each order has an allocated time and we book the minutes and day it's due. The whiteboard has columns for each day and down that is customer name, job, description, qty and machine it's going on. We have two boards at total 7.2 mtrs long by 1.2mtrs deep. We find it visually easier than paper printouts, clipboards etc and easy to juggle stuff about. And quick.

Fast Manager. It's great. We used t-quoter before and it always buggy and the work flow method didn't really make much sense.

freecrm I use the task manager for production. I have my production dept update every order as it progresses, and anyone can login from anywhere in the world at anytime and check on progress

I am in need of this software also.

The problem I see is...many of these companies have a set price...then a monthly fee.

Many claim it is for continued support.

Come on....Once you learn the software. You won't need support.

If you do....then pay for it when you need it.

Could you imagine buying a press, then having to pay a monthly fee to use it?

I messaged many people that bought some software many years ago and it still works good.

I am looking into T-Works Manager - a set price.

Anyone ever used it.

If so can you share the good...the bad and the ugly... in a private message.

Thanks!

Yeah the reason Printavo is a monthly fee is because I have monthly bills to host it. If you're interested in using it though after the trial I'll definitely give you a nice coupon code.

I just started using tworks last week, its a little much to grasp at first but looks like it will do what i need it to do and then some.

Just finished a bunch of new features! And a video walkthrough of everything

-You can drag and drop orders on the calendar to change the due date quickly.
-You can change the order of line items on an invoice by dragging them up or down.
-You can add tasks to invoices and due dates for each task for your team.
