Hey everyone. I was wondering is anyone had any tips on silk screening on canvas totes. I don't know if there is an easier way, like thickness of ink and screen mesh size. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

easy peasy.... we just did 500 this week. we used 156 mesh and regular inks. They were easier to print that tshirts. :-)

What problems are you having? I agree with Nathan. A 156 mesh with regular ink should work fine. By regular I mean standard plastisol. If you having trouble getting the ink into the rough fabric try a little reducer to help it flow better and you should be all set.

we do quite a bit of canvas totes as well as large duffel bags and backpacks. always used a 110 for printing. biggest issue we had was getting the ink to cure. had to really jack up the heat and slow the dryer down

We here at N.W. Awards just did 250 (cotton) canvas bags using 160 mesh and regular plastisol white ink with absolutely no problems. Print > flash > print did the trick.
