I purchased this machine did my first embroidery and after that I keep receiving the E1 error that the thread is broke. I have tried everything. I spoke with singer and still have not been able to use my machine without this error coming up every 2 seconds. Is there anybody who could help me??????????:( :(

I have solved this problem by taking out the bobbin case, blowing it out with air to make sure there are no little strands of string stuck somewhere. Also, by changing the needle. Hope this helps, Wildkatz

I have the same machine - when I get the E1 error - I first re-thread the machine and this usually corrects the problem - I have also found that the stabilizer plays a big part in the error msg. - I am loving my machine now that I have worked out all the errors.
