X4 keeps locking up using Windows 7, SD tech says purchase new Corel and new x5 and all my problems will be solved. Should it not be up to the Company to resolve your current issues without the purchase of more product, Catch 22 for the user?.
Re: Smart Design Users
 I would recommend that you completely uninstall your Corel X4 and reinstall it. I have my X4 on my desktop running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and on my Netbook running Windows 7 Home Premium with no problems on either machine. I was somewhat hesitant to run it on the Netbook but decided to attempt it and I am very happy with the results, it actually runs very well even when I run an external monitor.
I am running 2G Ram in the Netbook so I don't know if it would run with the standard 1G Ram. ;)
Re: Smart Design Users
Definately will try this. Thanks
Re: Smart Design Users
Go to your Options>Global and disable CARM - it doesn't work with Win 7.
