I have been using the standard Tatami filling stitch for long time on Wilcom in Complex Fill. I find difficulties in embroidering on piquet fabrics and discovered companies using other rythms of fillings which probably reduces the stitch count and gives a beautiful appearance. Any ideas how I can set up this on my Wilcom? Any settings will appreciated.

When you will open the wilcom software you can see the option of INPUT A , (top icon) from this you can use satin fill stitch, but it is way difference in using than complex fix, the other option will be fusion fill (D icon) this will be the easier for you, trace it from the outline and enter, on the right bottom of the software you will be guided what to do. They will ask if you need any compound path, than they will ask for enter first point then last point then put the angles, use density according to the design. As far as the fabric is not stretchable 0.40 mm will be great .. Put centre run underlay!

open tatami property. edit offset fraction..20 and .35.apply underlay first edge run 2.0 second tatami. specing apply what you want

I use Wilcom Embroidery Studio.
Click the design--View Object Properties -- fills -- Motif Fill -- select "set: single motifs".
Then you will see about 100 options under it like " stars, kites, arrows, blocks...".
You will find one you like to use as fill.
