Hello,
I would like to start an embroidery business in a year or two as a 2nd income and potentially fulltime career/early retirement career. I've used Husqvarna viking embroidery software with my Husqvarna sewing machine, but would like to spend the next year learning Wilcom, since it seems to be the most popular for commercial use.
I don't want to pay full price for the software, then find out it's not something I enjoy or am good at. Can anyone advise me on purchasing a used copy of the software? I've seen a few posts here for used versions of Wilcom ES65 for $2500. Is that reasonable and is it possible to get the online training if I'm buying the software used?
Thanks,
AG
Re: Want to learn Wilcom digitizing
Tom Moore at Strawberry Stitch is someone I would consider an expert in digitizing on Wilcom and he has an online course you can take... give him a try, his overall embroidery, digitizing, and design knowledge is well worth it.
