I am looking to purchase a used professional embroidery machine. Either a Babylock or Brother, I understand they are the same. I know the EMP6 was originally around 6000 in 2005, so I am wanting one for no more than 3000. Do the newer models do anything more than the EMP6 or PR600? Thankyou

Like new Baby Lock, 3 years old, Embroidery Professional – Model BMP6, 6-needle machine with stand. Runs wonderfully, 560 hours, 2 sets of hoops (4 different sizes), 2 cap hoops, cap jig. Hoopmate hooping station and computer with embroidery software (Masterworks I, Sizeworks, Hoopworks) installed. $6200.00. We’re upgrading to a larger machine. We can e-mail pictures marilynhutchison@charter.net. We are located in Illinois.

I think you're right about that being a reasonable cost. The new Brother 1000 is coming out as of 10/15, so I'm hoping costs will come down. I might mention that the 1000 can direct other brother machines. If you intend to grow a business large enough to have several machines, you might want to shoot for a machine that is compatible with other machines you can link to. ;)

How about a BAS-416 A
4 SETS OF HOOPS FOR GARMENTS + WIDE HATS.
