Wanting to start a business!

Trust is very important. Also, making an informed decision will greatly enhance your trust with your vendor. At this early stage in research, there are a couple of things I would recommend.

1) do you have experience in screen printing? If not, it can be a very complex world for beginners. I would suggest taking a tour of a local shop or maybe seeing if they would let you apprentice. Get the feel of it before spending capital. You might find you would rather contract your work out than print it yourself.

2) Go to a trade show where all the manufactures have their goods on display. You can ask questions, test drive equipment, and generally learn a lot. Usually there are classes at the trade shows that will help answer questions.

3) As for manufactures I like, I would direct you to M & R and Anatol. Both companies have been enjoyable to deal with.

I would concur with all of that. I have a shop full of M&R equipment and it is great stuff. The only problem I have with M&R is that thier service department is terrible, the only good thing is that you won't have to use them very often. I have only had to have my M&R machines worked on 3 times in the last 16 years.
