Ive played with the old Alps resin printer in the past and some large Roland inkjets.
Ive sold all of them and looking for another printer for T-shirts. Im thinking of
a good resin printer because of the no mess printing and durability of the prints.
The direct print to garment printers seem to cost to much and their supplies are way to high. They want to make all the money off their supplies.
Looking for some new ideas?????????????
Im going to be making T-shirts from my 50 ft Cat sailboat as I sail around the oceans
and sell my work.
Re: What is the best printer for doing t-shirts resin or inkjet?
I would say that if you can afford to sale around the world...than you dont need to worry about selling shirts made with low quality desktop transfers. If you really wanted to take on such a task, I would suggest that you have professional transfers made before you go and just have a friend ship them Fed-Ex to some of your ports of destinations to restock you when needed.
With a quality made transfer at least you will be able to ask a better price for your goods.

It would be just something to play with while relaxing in a bay. Sell and give to friends
I meet while sailing. I see Roland has a small resin printer now. The PC-12 looks like would work just fine. I like to play with art and photos and be able to print on the spot.
I don't want to have stuff shipped it. I will just have a large supply of shirts on the boat.
I could have those shipped in. Portable print shop for the fun of it. They make nice gifts
aswell for people on the islands. People always like T-shirts graphics and they would be custom. Im just having fun not trying to make a living. Ive already made my living thats
why Im on the 50ft Cat.
