Howdy,
I am seeking advice/help. I have had silk screening classes and had a friend who did it and helped her out. I am wanting to give it a go at home. Ok home includes a 1500sq.ft. building in my backyard. I have the room and a very little amount of money. I am asking for what I really need to get started. I know about the emulsion, squeeegies ect. I am looking for admive on the press, i guess. I have seen clamp-to-the-table type go pretty cheap, and I have seen table-top type go double/tripple that.
My needs are just to do a couple personal jobs. Wife has breast cancer and I want to make the "teams" shirts for an upcoming 5k run. Might do some for my church and a dance group my daughters are in. The more I think about it, the more I find myself thinking I would do more that I set out to do.
Any advice on how to start, cheap? Not planning on making a living or huge profit, just single/double color t-shirt.

Hey newbie. I myself am new at this and am doing well so far. I purchased a 4 color one station table top Silver Press and it has worked out great. The only thing I wish I'd done is get a two station to allow for cool down time in between. Good luck in choosing and in the business.:)
