What should I do 2 or 4 heads

United States

I started my embroidery business 1 year ago
bought 1 Happy 1501 with hoopmaster and Deco studio
as my business is growing a lot faster that I tought
Now I need to upgrade, should I get a 2 or 4 heads
Is a used machine a good thing or not
Should I stay with a Happy (mine is great)
Do not know where to start I just need more opinions
Thanks

How happy are you with your Happy? Do you have a good working knowledge of your machine and with your service rep? Is your single head similar to the multi head you are considering? Are parts interchangeable and are the heads identical? These are a few questions that you need to honestly answer for yourself. Would you feel comfortable purchasing a used machine? You can usually find 4 and 2 heads near the same price, with a 4 head you have a higher production ability but you also have the ability to have some spare parts also so in the event you have a head break down you will still be running two heads or three and not drop down to only one additional head. If you have a good relationship with your service tech and find a used machine it may be an idea to pay his way to inspect it before you purchase it you may very well make out in the end.

Lots of things to think about.
